Study Shows Exercise in Youth Can Help Protect Girls From Breast Cancer

A study just released by Harvard University and Washington University shows that girls ages 12-22 that exercise will lower their risk of premenopausal breast cancer by 23%. Studies show that just moderate walking 3 times a week is enough to gain this important benefit. If we didn't have enough motivation before to get our daughters exercising, this is certainly an imperative reason! This study supports previous research touting the benefits of exercise and breast cancer prevention.
